Erm.... Updating season already?

  Weeeelllllll...... I quit my job so that I can be around family and friends before I leave for 'boot camp'. I've been at my grandmother's house quiet a bit, working for her. And let me tell you, older woman or not, she works me like a freagin' mule! But I can't complain being that I love working and she works as hard (if not harder) than I do. I'm at her house in Sulfur right now. Ever since my grandfather passed away I can see him everywhere around here. (I don't mean ACTUALLY see him... I would scream.) It must be hard for her, especially since she's been thinking of selling this house, because it's too much upkeep for her.

  Anywho, I'm totally gonna' go see the movie "Good Luck Chuck". I love Dane Cook. He's hilarious. And a bit of a babe, too. I like Ron White's stand up a lot more, though. Actually, I went through a list of people I thought were cute, and I realized that they mostly look alike. Which, I guess that's the same for most people.

Dane Cook, Brad Sherwood, Jeff Dunham, David Boreanez, George Clooney (DUH!!!), Steve Gonsalves from TAPS in Ghost Hunters... Oh! I almost forgot: Paul Adelstein. I think Steve is my fave, though. I love his tattoos (I can't wait to get mine done!!!).

What?! I have GREAT taste, so get over it.

And, uh, if any of the listed were to happen upon my humble site... I have been told I resemble Sandra Bullock countless times. *batts eyelashes*

So, it's been awhile. I guess I should write about what I've been up to.

I decided to join the Navy. The longer I have before 'boot camp' the longer I have to think about how terrible it's gonna' be. I don't regret joining at all. I'm quite happy with my choice. A lot of people have been telling me about how I'm going to be investigated by the F.B.I. If that's true, and somebody is actually reading this from the F.B.I, "Hi". I'm sorry that you have to gain insight on my character by reading pointless blogs. (and if you are indeed with the F.B.I., you know how many there are...)

Aside from telling random agents 'hi', I would also like to say "hello" to all of my shoutok friends that have been missing out on me. I'm in Texas now. PLAH, Texas!

    Hmmmmmm, I guess it's time for yet another fun filled update from Chelsee!

 I can't really think of anything grand that has happened these last few days, so this is a great update. ... let's see... I saw someone who I haven't seen in ages the other day. She's getting MARRIED!!!!!!

*scary background music plays*

 I would NOT (not, not, not, not) want to get married right now... but that's just because I'm all kinds of smart like that... maybe she should catch on... before it's too late.

 When I see people as younge as myself get married, one thought goes through my head (and it's not a very nice one): I picture them five years from now- divorced with three children (with all three children on SoonerCare). Foodstamps is a must for them, as is Section A housing. And they are both stuck in crappy, dead end jobs that they each detest.

 Perhaps my Mother and Father ruined my vision of young love. ... slightly...

Anywho, that's me being all-optimistic-but-not-really!

Well, this is me at my desk... working. I'm good like that.

 This week has flown by. It's amazing how one's concept of time changes as one grows older. Or how more fequently one uses the word one... Or how time just manages to change everything. My friends and I are supposed to go to the river this weekend, so that's fun. I guess I'm excited, in a sort of dull waiting way. I also might play soccer with some friends this weekend. I miss playing so much! Soccer, softball, Tae-kwon-do, and basketball used to be my life.

 Again, it's strange how time changes everything! My last day at the grocery store that I've been working at is Sunday. I'm going to cry. I've come to love all of the people there, and I'm going to miss each and everyone of them. I'm going to work at a Pizza Hut here in Shawnee for a bit as a manager then come fall it's Navy time! I'm so freagin' excited. Almost everyone in my family has served somehow (except for my father).

 Ooooooohh! Good news! My writers block is gone! I can now continue on with my amazing story that will change the world!!! YAY!!!!

   Saturday night, I went to a party out at my friend's house. It was pretty cool, for the most part.

A guy that had been hitting on me all night pulled out a machette (you know; the giant sword-like-knives that people use when they're in a jungle) and threatened a friend of mine with it, and ended up cutting somebody else. The cops came out to the house three times. Five people passed out in the field. Fifty more slept in their cars (that were randomly parked around a bon-fire). Countless people waved at me the next day, and explained that they were from the party. I still don't know who they were, but they apparently now know me and have my phone number and want to be my new best friend.

   You know, it was that kind of party.

A close friend of mine wants me to open up my own website and start giving free advice to anyone who needs it. She said that I'm a natual helper.

I laughed in her face. ;)
